Life insurance companies and others in our industry have rallied to support relief efforts in response to the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami that ravaged Japan on March 11.
The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation have established the MDRT Japan Disaster Relief Fund. The MDRT Foundation has donated the first $50,000 to the fund, and MDRT will match donations up to another $100,000. For more information or to donate online, go to www.MDRT Foundation.org.

COUNTRY Financial has donated $25,000 to the relief effort on a corporate level and is encouraging staff, agents and claims to donate individually.
MassMutual has donated $100,000 to support victims of the Japan earthquake. For more information, see the MassMutual News Release.
Northwestern Mutual Foundation announced a $125,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help in the Japan relief efforts.
